Through
the use of state of the art computer technology, we are able to produce a graphic picture
of DNA. This allows us to find patterns and repeats that will ultimately determine
the identity of a microsatellite "marker".
The four EF's below are from three different species and show how the nucleotides (T-C-G-A's) show up in repeats of 2, 3, and 4
nucleotide groups.
